Vintage Lester Maddox. Georgia Democratic Governor & Segregationist owner of-Pick Rick restaurants & Souvenir shop. Phooey Balancer Chicken Leg Whistle Souvenir +Maddox Country Button. This already had the Maddox Country Button attached, I have not removed it. I figured it's best to just leave it, so not to cause damage to the package to tear..I took pictures of the front and back of the button as well, see last 2 pictures.
The item is unopened, the plastic is crinkled, over all good shape, look photos, as pictured.
Includes the Button most likely added when the Chicken leg whistle was sold, maybe from the Lester Maddox Souvenir Shop? I was not familiar with him until I read up on him today. He was a Democratic Segregationist, Pick Rick Restaurant owner who was Governor of Georgia until becoming GA Lieutenant Gov.
I personally would not give 2 cents for this thing. I just listed it because people seemed to forget all about Ole Lester Maddox! Never heard of him? Just Ask Google!
